In 2013, eighteen KidBridge mothers representing 12 different countries wrote letters to their children explaining: why they left their country and what they miss; what they love (and find difficult) about living in Canada, and most importantly-- their dreams for their children’s future here.

Each letter is accompanied by a vibrant block-print illustration designed by the mothers under the guidance of internationally renowned local printmaker, Karen Cornelius.

A new, revised edition of Letters to our Children is available for purchase at the locations listed above.
