We are also welcoming sealed jars of jams, honeys, or other nut-free spreads to go with our delicious fresh baked bread.

We will be needing some volunteers to serve the beverages and food, as well as help with set-up and clean-up. If you are able to help, please contact 204-918-9297 or email: kidbridgewinnipeg@hotmail.ca

WHY WE ARE HAVING THIS EVENT:
This event is to celebrate the completion of KidBridge’s “First Nations, All Nations: Setting the Table” collaborative art project.
After 6 weeks of stories and intercultural sharing between mothers from the First Nations and New Immigrant communities, a beautiful symbol was designed by professional printmaking artist Karen Cornelius. This symbol, integrating drawings by the mothers, was then silkscreened onto 40 tablecloths.
This Bread & Bannock Fest is to celebrate the new understandings created, our unity in our diversity, and our shared future.

“How we set the table together today will determine the atmosphere around the table when our children sit down to join us.”
